The Milkmaid and her pail
Once there
lived a milkmaid in a village named, krishnapur. The milkmaid used to live with
her father and mother. She used to feed them by selling the milk for the day.
It is the only livelihood for her family. Her parents are too old to go and
sell the milk in the market. So, she used to milk the cows and sell the milk in
the market and earn money. The milkmaid has a habit of dreaming during daytime.
One fine morning, she went to the meadows to milk the cow. After an hour she kept
the pail of milk that got from the cow on her head balancing and started
walking towards her home. On the way, she started visualizing that I will
prepare butter and cream out of this milk and sell it in the market and make
money. With the obtained money I will buy few eggs. I will hatch these eggs.
And the eggs after hatching gets converted into chickens and I will start poultry
form with the formed chickens. I will sell the meat of the chicken for making
more money. With the obtained money I will buy a gorgeous frock from the
designer and I will wear it and go to the exhibition there every boy looks at
me and praises my beauty at that time I
will turn them away just by tossing my head. She does the same way as in dream
when she tossed her head with a jolt the pail on her head felled down and all
the milk that is in the pail had drained down on the ground. Seeing this
milkmaid expressed her grief. All her dreams got vanished at once.
Don’t count
your chicken before they hatch.

The Lion and the Mouse
Once there
lived a clever lion in a dense forest. It
was a hot summer day; all the animals went into their caves after search of
food. The lion after chasing for the day came near the big tree for taking rest
under cool shades of the tree. When he came near the tree he thought of taking
a small nap, the mouse which sat beside the tree saw the lion and came near it
and started playing and dancing on its back. The lion got disturbed and felt like
something is moving on it. When it woke up and saw a little and witty mouse was
moving around it and playing with its tail.
The lion
took it with his jaws and says, Oh! Little mouse how dare to play on me. I will crush you under my jaws.
For this the
little mouse replies, sir please excuse me for this time I will never repeat
this again. For this mistake I will surely help you some time when you are in
trouble.
By hearing
these funny words lion laughed at the mouse and says, you’re unable to escape
from me now then how you can help me when I am in trouble. The mouse however
had convinced the lion, and the lion was pleased with the mouse words and left
it without harming. As soon as lion left the mouse, it ran away happily from the
vicinity. Few months later the same lion
was caught and trapped in the net that was laid by the hunters the lion roared
for help but nobody in the forest heard his roaring sound and was left helpless.
But the little mouse passing on the way found the lion trapped in the net. Soon
came near the lion and said oh my friend don’t worry I will rescue you from
here just give few minutes. The little mouse then went near the lion and
started cutting the net that was thrown on the lion with its sharp teeth and
within no time the mouse could cut the entire net and rescued the lion. The
lion was thankful to the mouse for saving his life from hunter.
The mouse said
Oh! Friend you have made fun of me but now see I have rescued you. Friend I
have realized my mistake now I learnt that even small creatures can help a
powerful and strong friend like me. The lion and mouse became good friends in
no time and started leaving as friends ever after.
So friends
don’t underestimate any person, though he may not be strong enough than you but
sometime he may help you out when you’re in risky situations. See the mouse how
small when compared with lion it had rescued the lion from the dangerous
situation. Each person has some positive thing in him that may not be with
others. The talent in everyone will come out at the right time (everyone has
their own limitations).

The Grapes are sour
Once there
lived a foolish fox in a forest and he had friend in the other town to meet his
friend he have to travel about 15miles. On the way to the friends home the fox
felt thirsty since it was a hot summer day. It looks here and there for the
ponds but couldn’t find any water. He proceeded for few more miles and felt
hungry. He forgets to bring food from his home. He taught of taking rest for a
while and continues to the village and sat under the tree. There it found the
vineyard near to that tree and soon ran to the vineyard there it found many
bunches of grapes to the tree and taught of eating them to satisfy its hunger.
Soon went near the tree and started trying for the grapes. He gave many trails
repeatedly but couldn’t get the grapes. Since, the grapes are too high for the
fox to reach. Then the fox felt unhappy and convinced himself that the grapes
are sour and not at all tasty. The fox felt unhappy for not getting the grapes
and left the vicinity.
So, here the
fox had given many tries to eat the grapes but gave up at the end. If the fox
might have given more trails it would have got the grapes. So, friends try and
try untill you succeed in your work. Fight till your last breath. Never get out
in the middle of the war.
Here the fox
had blamed the grapes instead of him. It look like poor workman blamed his
tools instead of his poor work and efforts.

full of caps beside him and took a small nap. And the tree under which he sat
was full of monkeys playing with the tree branches. When the cap seller fell
into deep sleep the monkeys climbed down and took the caps from the hamper of
the cap seller. Each monkey took one cap and again climbed the tree. When the
capseller woke up he saw that his hamper was empty. He looked in and around his
vicinity but he could not find anything. When he looked at the tree he saw that
monkeys wearing the caps. Then he
worried that how can he get back his caps from monkeys. He gestured in different ways to the monkeys.
Whatever is being done by the capseller is imitated by the monkeys. Then he
thought of a plan and as a part of the plan he took his cap and kept it on the
ground seeing this monkey also removed their caps and threw on the ground. The
capseller picked all the caps that was thrown by the monkey’s on to the ground
and went towards his village happily
Think wisely
