8 Different types of mushrooms and their health benefits

Mushrooms are packed with all essential nutrients, vitamin D, and iron content eating them on regular basis promotes good health. These are available in eight varieties across the globe. People are preparing many oriental dishes using these mushrooms. Each varieties different in color, taste and size but has common health benefits. People eating them regularly can improve the quality of their life. These mushrooms have anti-oxidant, anti-tumor, anti viral properties in it. But not all kinds of mushrooms are edible.

The eight different variety mushrooms and the extraordinary health benefits associated with them are explained below:

White mushrooms
This class of mushrooms is again divided into different varieties. They include button mushroom, cremini and the Portobello. Eating white category mushrooms helps to keep you weight under control.

Shiitake mushrooms

Reishi Mushrooms
